Vehicle Crime in your area

There has been an increasing amount of reports of Vehicle Theft and Theft From a Motor Vehicle in your area recently.

Some tips to keep your vehicle and belongings safe:

Always ensure your vehicle is locked

Take your valuables and belongings out of your car

Close the windows and sunroof completely

Park in well-lit areas or keep your car in the garage

Consider a steering wheel lock

If you have keyless entry:

Keep your car key and the spare away from the car

Use a Faraday box for your keys to prevent thieves picking up the signal

Please remain vigilant and report any concerns via 999 or 101.
